Do you have an issue that mediation may help resolve?
The Grand Teton Mediation Association can help. To begin the process of mediation and to find a mediator:
- Contact the other party in your dispute. Suggest that mediation be utilized to resolve the problem. Since mediation is a voluntary process, both parties must agree to mediate the matter. If the other party is not sure whether mediation may be helpful, someone from GTMA can contact the other party to explain the process.
- If the other party agrees, contact GTMA and request that a mediator be assigned to hear your case. Click here or the icon below for a mediation request form that can be e-mailed to GTMA, or printed for mailing or fax. GTMA will need to know:
- The names and contact information of the parties in dispute;
- The type of issue
- Where the parties may be willing to meet, and convenient times and dates.
- GTMA will review the issue, and provide a listing to both parties of mediators specializing in your type of dispute.
- If both parties can agree on a mediator, notify GTMA and the mediator will be contacting you to arrange dates and places for the mediation session.
- If both parties cannot agree on an individual mediator, the parties can defer to GTMA to recommend a mediator for them.
